The bulk of the day was spent relaxing at Jamie and Brian's before heading over to my niece Bridgett's house in the late afternoon to visit with a lot more family at a pizza party arranged on our behalf.
Tom and I got to visit with my brother Mark and sister-in-law Pamela; niece Bridgett and her sons, Jonathan and Owen; and niece Stephanie and her two sons, Connor and Alexander. It was super fun seeing everybody! Those boys just keep growing!

Late in the evening, we returned to Jamie and Brian's for a couple of beers and a good night's slumber in preparation for the next two long and less fun days of driving. This was not quite the end of the trip, but it was the end of the vacation, and we were still 900 miles from home.
Epilogue:
Tuesday, May 12, we drove from Edmond, OK, to Jackson, TN, where we stayed at a mediocre motel, Surestay Plus by Best Western. Highlight of the day: Dinner at Texas Roadhouse in Jackson – excellent food and excellent service!
Wednesday, May 13, we drove from Jackson, TN, to our home in Clinton, TN. Highlight of the day: reuniting with Bosco Dog after his stay at “sleep-away camp.” We missed him!
