As followers of my journals might remember, I visited Guatemala and Mayan Mexico in late 1997, just before I met my wife. I talked up the region so much, Jana insisted I return - with her this time of course! We finally made that trip in late February, early March 2003. Here is the story of our journey...

Credit for this journal, once again, goes mostly to Jana. She seems to have a knack for these things. There will be a few improvements to this section in the next few weeks, but we felt it was ready for an early release in its current form.
